Individual Coaching

Our coaching services are individualized based on your goals, strengths, needs, and comfort level.  The focus is always on self-care, learning how to stay present and flexible in challenging situations, and taking steps toward what is most valuable and important to you.  Based on your own goals and comfort level, your coaching sessions can focus on setting short and long term goals, exploring your experience of feeling "stuck" to help you get "unstuck," and connecting with resources that can help you get to where you'd like to be.  Meetings are offered both in person and online, based on your location and preference. To set up your first coaching session, email us at UpswingAdvocates@gmail.com.

Support Groups

We offer weekly support group meetings, based on community interest, that cover topics such as mindfulness, anxiety, and relationships.  Groups are tailored to the needs and interests of LGBTQIA individuals, with separate groups for their partners, family, and friends, and are supported by licensed clinical therapists and community members.  To start your own group, or connect with an existing one, email us at UpswingAdvocates@gmail.com.

Research

Upswing Advocate’s approach to research is radical. Rather than starting a project that is set in stone, we seek out feedback from study participants every step of the way, and that feedback shapes what we research, and how we research it.  We prioritize consent, respect, and inclusion, with a focus on topics that will make a real-world difference for people in the LGBTQIA community.  To hear about our current research projects, email us at UpswingAdvocates@gmail.com.
