For Us: A Queer Affirming Psychoeducation Class
Join us once a month for an education based class that focuses on skill-based practices and techniques for better mental health. Build your knowledge base of different mental health practices, and your skill set for identifying and incorporating supports that are meaningful for you. All are welcome and invited to this class. Information will be provided through a LGBTQIA-centered and affirming lens.

Join us for an evening of education on the basics of improving your mental health. Participants will learn skills for identifying unhealthy patterns, ways to develop healthy thoughts and behaviors, and tools to help manage emotions. Bring a notebook because you may want to take notes!
This class is $25, with sliding scale options available at the door.
For Us is led by Jason Best, LCSW, and Worner Leland, BCBA.
Jason is a therapist specializing in working with Gender and Sexually Diverse clients in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. He worked for 10 years at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital as and has an extensive background in treating depression, anxiety, and bipolar issues.
Worner Leland is a behavior analyst, specializing in providing supports and coaching for LGBTQIA clients, and training for helping professionals on making their practices more affirming for the LGBTQIA clients they serve.
